Gerald & Elsie Schmidt came to Lagrange, Indiana in 1967 and purchased what was then called “Lewis Mobile Home Park and Sales.” Since the existing business had a reputation for Honesty and Integrity, they decided to keep the name of the founder, Mr. Lewis, for the time being.

John Schmidt was 3 when his parents bought the business. While growing up he was directly involved each day with all the activities, and sales. It is now 40 years later, Gerald and Elsie have retired. John and his wife Cindy have taken over the business, and renamed it “Lewis Quality Homes, Inc.” the tradition of Quality, Honesty and Integrity continues today.

Our location has remained the same over the years. New offices and a reception area have been added and our model home lot has been enlarged, giving you the opportunity to tour the latest models.
